The Rossport area offers lots to do, especially during the summer and fall months, but the winter months have lots to offer too.

The opportunity to experience "The Big Lake" up close is a way to reduce stress, slow down, be close to nature and experience one of Canada's most beautiful, pristine landscapes.  Be careful, "The North Shore" has a way of getting into your bones and it may not let you go!

Lake Superior has a reputation of being a stormy lake.  This can be true, especially during the months of October and November, but don't let that scare you from experiencing this incredible inland sea.  There are lots of days when the lake surface is like a piece of glass. Treat the lake with respect and it will offer you experiences that are hard to explain and describe, but that will be treasured for years to come.
