Such A Nice Day (S.A.N.D.) Adventures Inc. based in Rossport, offers sea kayak tours, rentals, skills programs and expeditions in the beautiful Rossport Islands and Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area.
In early spring every year, there is a small window of opportunity to access an awe inspiring ice world amongst the Rossport Islands. It is very condition dependent, but when the opportunity arises to get out amongst the ice on the lake, it is truly a special experience.
Each and every member of the S.A.N.D. team has grown connected with the landscape, history, and expeditioning on Lake Superior. The passion for the Lake is emanating through their team. The common theme… sharing the love. That is why they do this, because they believe that more people should get to experience a connection to the great body of water that we call home. Their mission, to provide an experience; to teach the skills to be safe on the lake; and to cultivate a connection with nature.
